SSSCR Berkeley will be hosting its third annual networking dinner, ‘Branching Out’, in Spring 2019. This event aims to provide a close-knit space for students interested in biology and the regenerative sciences to form connections with some graduate students and principal investigators that are currently making strides in the field of biology. Past attendees included Nobel Laureate, Dr. Randy Scheckman, and UCSF professors, Dr. Sarah Knox and Dr. Julie Sneddon.
It can often be hard to approach professors in big lectures or talk casually to GSIs about their research, so the networking dinner is a great opportunity to take advantage of an intimate setting (and delicious food!) to learn about some amazing research and chill with some incredibly passionate scientists and students.
